Julia Zaman - a Good Samaritan Fatality - Frisco, Texas

Julia Zaman, age 46, died on March 27, 2017, on a highway in Frisco, Texas.

At about 10:30 p.m., an SUV struck a concrete barrier, crossed over the median and stopped in the opposing traffic lane.

Julia was driving by and pulled over her Land Rover on the shoulder of the highway. She was stopping to assist anyone in need at the scene of the accident. Soon after Julia stepped out of her vehicle, she was struck by another vehicle. 

Tragically, Julia died at the scene of the accident. 

The circumstances of this tragic accident are under investigation. 

Julia was a member of the Church of Latter Day Saints and taught Sunday School at her local Mormon Church. Her husband is a member of the Islamic faith. They have been married for 22 years and have a 15 year old daughter who is autistic.

Julia's loved ones are devastated over her sudden and tragic death. She was a kind hearted woman who was always willing to help others. She was positive in her thinking and kind in spirit. Her smile could light up a room. She was loving and was loved in return. She did her best. She will be forever mourned.

Julia is survived by many loving friends and family members including her husband, Nadeem, and their daughter.

Oceans of tears have been shed for Julia. 

Julia was a Good Samaritan. 

Good Samaritans step up to help strangers in times of danger or distress. They are the real heroes of the modern era.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and are gone before we can say goodbye.

Pray that Julia is in Heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
