David Guzman - Security Guard - a victim in Houston, Texas

David Guzman, age 25, died on August 29, 2016, outside a bank in northwest Houston, Texas.

David was a Brinks security guard. 

At about 6:00 p.m., David and another guard were reloading an ATM outside of a Wells Fargo Bank. 

They were ambushed by a male attacker. Several shots were fired and David was struck. The money he was carrying to the ATM was stolen. 

Tragically, David died at the scene. 

The suspect is described as a black male driving a blue Toyota Camry.

David had attended Aldine High School in Houston. He had worked as a technician

for several car dealerships before he joined Brinks as a security guard. 

David was engaged to be married to his long-time girlfriend, Lorin. She stated that David was a loving and respectful man with a beautiful soul.

David's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He was a happy man who loved his family. He was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

David is survived by many loving friends and family members who will forever miss him.
