Flando Jackson - U.S. soldier fatality - Near East

Flando Jackson

Lt. Col. Flando E. Jackson, age 45, of Lansing, Michigan, died on August 4, 2016, somewhere in southwest Asia.

Lt. Col. Jackson died of a non-combat related injury.

The location of this tragic incident has not been disclosed as of this posting.

Flando Jackson was assigned to the 194th Wing, Camp Murray, Washington National Guard, Washington. 

Flando was part of the U.S. opposition to the Isis terrorist organization.

Flando received his commission from the Reserve Officer Training Corps program in 1993.

Flando's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He loved his family and he was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Flando is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members who will forever miss him.
