Officer Moules had 10 months of service at the Facility.
During the nighttime hours, an inmate attacked Kristopher. The two men struggled and crashed into an elevator door which opened. Both men fell several floors down the elevator shaft.
Kristopher was rushed to a nearby hospital where, tragically, he was pronounced deceased.

The inmate, Tim Gilliam Jr., age 27, of Wilkes-Barre, also died of his injuries. He was in jail for failing to register as a sex offender and had a pre-history of fighting with law enforcement officers.
Kristopher had majored in criminal justice at Youngstown State University in Ohio, where he played college baseball.

Friends describe Kristopher as a go-getter, respectful, helpful and an achiever.
The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections is in mourning over the death of their
young brother. He was proud of his new job. He will be forever remembered.
Kristopher's loved ones are devastated over his sudden and tragic death. He excelled as a student and as an athlete. He was a good kid. He was loving and was loved in return. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.
Kristopher is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including his mother, father and brother.
