Alyssa Morgan - a 12 year old girl bullied to death in Iowa

Alyssa Morgan
Alyssa Morgan, age 12, died on April 3, 2015, at her home in Pleasant Hill, Iowa.

Alyssa committed suicide.

Her mother states that Alyssa was bullied at Southeast Polk Junior High School.

Alyssa was in the seventh grade and was constantly bullied by her classmates for openly stating that she was bisexual. She was put down and told that she was disgusting.

She faced anguish every day that she went to school. She became depressed and started self-harming. Self-harming can often involve cutting oneself.

Angels of God, pray for Alyssa
and for all who are tormented.

To any teens who are reading this:

~ Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a harder battle.
~ Do not contribute to another's downfall. Tomorrow or five years from now, it could be you who is being humiliated.
~There is nothing cool about human suffering.

School officials state that there are many anti-bullying programs in place at the school.

Other parents in the school district state that this is the 15th suicide of a student at this school in 12 years. This assertion is unconfirmed. However, if it is true, then an investigation should be conducted by state authorities. There is a poisonous atmosphere at a junior high school if a kid dies every year because they're unhappy there.

Alyssa's loved ones are devastated over her tragic death. She liked drawing, taking selfies, putting on makeup. She was just a typical 12 year old girl. She will be forever mourned.

Alyssa is survived by many loving friends and family members including her parents.

Pray for all who are tormented.

Pray for all who die young. They barely had a chance to live.

Pray that Alyssa is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
