Christopher Brown - A store clerk killed in Arkansas

Chris Brown
Christopher D. Brown, age 24, died on January 25, 2015, at a convenience store in Arkadelphia, Arkansas.

Arkadelphia is a city in Clark County, with a population of just under 11,000.

Chris was working the overnight shift at the convenience store. At about 4:45 a.m., two men entered the store. A third male was outside in a parked four-door Ford Taurus, gray or green in color.

The men attempted to rob the store and in the confrontation Chris was shot and fatally wounded. It was reported that Chris has his hands up when he was shot.

It is unknown if the thieves stole any money. It was reported that they couldn't get the cash register open, but this is unconfirmed.

Suspect one, the driver who never exited the vehicle, is believed to be a black male, heavy set, wearing a yellow T-shirt. Suspect two is a black male, heavy set, wearing a

white T-shirt with a black long sleeve t-shirt underneath, a blue U.S. Polo brand jacket tied around his waist and blue jeans. Suspect two may have been wearing a work-style boot. Suspect three is a black male, skinny, short, wearing a gray hooded zip-up jacket and sagging dark jeans. This suspect was armed with a suspected long barrel revolver.

If you have any information about this crime, you are urged to contact the Arkansas State Police at 870-777-4641.

Chris was a reserve National Guardsman. He lived with his girlfriend and kept to himself.

We put this question to the thieves who killed Chris: What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?

Christopher's loved ones are devastated over his senseless and tragic death. He was a good kid. He did his best. He will be forever mourned.

Chris is survived by many loving friends and family members.

Pray for justice for Chris.

Pray for all who go to work and who die there.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father.

Pray that Chris is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
