Andrew Ung - A store clerk murdered in Los Angeles, California

Andrew Ung, age 29, died on January 13, 2015, at a Doughnut shop in south Los Angeles, California.

Andrew was the son of the business owner and was working the evening shift. Close to 9:30 p.m., a man walked into the store and asked to buy a doughnut. He then tried to rob the shop instead. He fled the shop and Andrew reportedly chased him into the alley. The robber stabbed Andrew Ung several times and then fled the scene.

Andrew was rushed to a local hospital where tragically he passed away.

A 37 year old man has been arrested in connection with this crime. No other details are available as of this posting date.

Friends describe Andrew as a kind and generous man and an all-around good guy. He cared about the community he lived in. He treated his customers well. If you wanted a doughnut badly and you didn't have the money, he would give it to you anyway.

Andrew is survived by many loving friends and family members including but not limited to his mother, Kim Ung and his brother, William Ung.

Pray for justice for Andrew.
