Jessica Chambers |
Jessica was seen on December 6, 2014, at a gas station and convenience store located on a highway in Courtland, Mississippi. Courtland is a town in Panola County and is about 70 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee. The population was 460 at the time of the 2000 U.S. Census.
Jessica didn't indicate to anyone at the store that anything was wrong or that she was being followed or harassed in any way. She was smiling and acting normal.
An hour and a half later, deputies responded to reports of a burning car and found Jessica on fire outside of her vehicle. It is believed that a fire starting liquid had been squirted into her mouth before she was set on fire by her murderer.
