Richard Bradham Jr. - a victim of a hit and run driver in Georgia

Richard Bradham Jr.
Richard E. Bradham Jr., age 29, of Eastman, Georgia, died on November 9, 2014, at a hospital in Macon, Georgia.

Richard was known as "Bo" to his family and friends.

On November 8, 2014, Richard was on his motorcycle at about 11:20 a.m.  He was headed south toward Hawkinsville.

It has been reported that a silver Toyota pickup truck driven by a white male, in his late 50's or early 60's was spotted turning onto Highway 341 in the wrong lane. The truck may have had Georgia plates with the letters PWG or AWG on them.

Anyone with information about the accident, the driver or the suspect vehicle is asked to call the Georgia State Patrol at 478-988-6740 or call 911.

It is unknown at this time if Richard was struck by the truck or if he swerved to evade this oncoming vehicle and then lost control of his motorcycle.  He crashed and was airlifted to a hospital in Macon where tragically he passed away the next day.

Drivers who enter highways driving the wrong way, facing traffic, are often severely impaired - drunk or doped up. However the cirumcumstances of this tragedy are unknown as of this date.

Richard graduated from Dodge County High School in 2003 and was a 2004 graduate of
Light a candle for Bo. Light his way to Heaven.
Georgia Aviation and Technical College. He was a member of the Zebulon Baptist Church.

Richard worked as a production controller at Robins Air Force Base.  He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Eastman Fire Department.  Fire fighting comrades describe him as a man who had a sense of humor and who was well respected and well liked by his peers. He will be forever remembered.

Family members stated that Richard loved the outdoors, loved hunting, mud-bogging and four-wheeling.  They are devastated by his sudden and tragic death. Oceans of tears will be shed for Bo. He will be forever mourned.

His organs where donated to help others in dire medical distress.

Richard is survived by many loving comrades, friends and family members including but not limited to his mother, Sherri Terry; his father, Richard Bradham Sr., his sister, Grace; his brothers Baxter, Ryan and Charles; his wife Lindsay; and their three children, Trey, Abbey and Kinsley.

Pray for justice for Richard.

God save us from the drunk and the doped up drivers. They are killing us, Father.

God save us from the speeding drivers. They strike us down on the road and then run away like wolves.

Pray that Richard is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
