Glenda and her daughter, Britny
Glenda Coca-Romero, age 21, died on February 21, 2014, at a grocery store in Woodbridge, West Virginia.

Glenda was a clerk at the store. She and another woman, age 42, were working at the store at about 9:00 p.m. when three men, dressed in black with faces hidden, entered the store, shot the two women and fled within 10 or 15 seconds. No money was stolen in this assault.

The two women were sharing an apartment. The older woman had worked at the store for about 5 years. The motive for this crime is unknown as of this posting. It is either a robbery gone wrong or one of these women was targeted by the killers.

Glenda was born in El Salvador. She had moved to the U.S.A. about 18 months ago and had worked at the store for about a year.

Friends stated that she was strong-willed, intelligent and wanted to better her life for herself and for her baby girl. She didn't party and run around. She just worked and looked after her daughter.
