Christopher Spears - U.S. Military

Christopher Spears, age 24, of Madison,  Alabama, died on February 1, 2014, on a highway in Limestone County, Alabama. 

At approximately 3:40 a.m., his vehicle struck a bridge abutment and burst into flames. Chris died at the scene. 

He was on his way to National Guard drills in Hayleyville.  

Chris was a graduate of East Limestone High School.  

He had served 18 months with the Army National Guard in Afghanistan. 

He attended Lamb of God Lutheran Church in Madison.

His loved ones are deeply mourning his tragic death.  He will be forever missed.

lost him.

Chris is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother and stepfather, Kristie and Jim Harris; his father, Daniel Spears; his brothers, Alan and Brandon Spears; and his wife, Meagan Spears. 

Thank you for serving, Chris.

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and gone the next.

Pray that Chris is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
