James Brynin - U.K. Military

L/Cpl James Brynin, age 22, died on October 15, 2013, while on patrol in Kakaran, north of Lashkar Gah, Helmand Province, Afghanistan.

He died of injuries sustained from enemy gunfire. He died at the scene.

James was a member of the 14th Signal Regiment, the Intelligence Corps.

He was known as Jay to his family and friends.

He joined the Army in February of 2011. He had previously served a tour of duty in Afghanistan.

Military officials stated that he had excelled in the Army and that he had grand ambitions regarding his military career.

He was very popular amongst his colleagues and was an outstanding soldier in every respect. He is described as the brightest and the best.

Family members describe him as a having the heart of a lion. He will never be

forgotten.

James is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father, Efrem, his mother, Sharon; his sister, Yasmin; and his girlfriend, Olivia.

Thank you for serving, James.

Pray without ceasing unto God for an end to this war in Afghanistan. It is enough. We are sick with grief for men like James.

Pray that James is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
