Ian Mann - a Victim of drunk driving in Pennsylvania

Ian M. Mann, age 35, of Downington, Pennsylvania, died on October 4, 2013, on a highway in West Bradford Township, Pennsylvania.

He was driving his motorcycle at about 8:00 p.m. on Friday night when he was struck head-on by a vehicle heading westbound in the eastbound lanes.

In other words, the driver of the vehicle that struck Ian was driving against the traffic.  After the vehicle struck Ian, it ran into another car, injuring the driver and his passenger.

Police have arrested Antonio Ortiz, age 22, of Coatesville.  He has been charged with homicide by vehicle and driving under the influence.

Antonio has a long history of traffic infractions - speeding and driving with a suspended license, plus public drunkenness.

This dude is only 22 years old and already has a wrap sheet like Judas.  Did he start drinking at age 12?  God help us.

Ian Mann was born in West Chester.  He graduated from West Chester High School and later from the Automotive Training Center.  He was an auto mechanic at a tire store in Downington.
Raphael, Archangel, pray
for Ian

Ian was a musician and enjoyed hunting and riding his motorcycle. He attended St. Agnes Church in West Chester.

Ian is described as a loving husband and father.  He will be forever mourned by his loved ones.

Ian is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, William and Ruthann Mann; his brothers, William B. Mann and Andrew B. Mann; his sister, Michelle Lucchesi; his wife, Brianna Mann; his daughter, Addison Mann; and his son, Gage Mann.

God save us from the drunk and doped up drivers. These freaks are killing us, Father. Amen.

Pray that Ian is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
