Shelby Farah - Store Clerk murdered in Florida

Shelby Farah, age 20, died on July 20, 2013, at a store in Jacksonville, Florida.

She was working as a clerk at a Metro PCS store, which is a cell phone retailer.

At about 6:30 p.m., the Police responded to a call regarding a robbery. Officers found 
Shelby lying dead behind the counter.

It was reported that a man came into the store with a gun and demanded money and then gunshots were heard. The man fled on foot. He is described as a black male, 6 feet tall, with a slim build.

Shelby was a 2011 graduate of Andrew Jackson High School. She had also attended Florida State College at Jacksonville.

Family members describe Shelby as a bright and talented young woman who loved

giving back to her community. She volunteered locally and coached a local elementary cheerleading squad. She had dreams of studying forensics and was interested in being a a 911 dispatcher.

Friends describe her as full of life and joy, always smiling.

Shelby is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her mother, Darlene Farah.

Pray for justice for Shelby.

Pray for women who die at age 20. Yesterday, they were just girls.

God save us from the thieves. They are killing us, Father. Amen.
