Laurie Vaughn - a Good Samaritan killed in Florida

Laurie Vaughn, age 41, of Titusville, Florida, died on May 30, 2013, on a highway in Florida.

At about 10:30 a.m., Laurie pulled her vehicle over to check on the occupants of another car that had lost control and hit a guardrail. Amanda Guido and Tevin Lincoln were on their way to work when Amanda lost control of the car in a pouring rain and it hit the guardrail.

Laurie was outside of her vehicle, standing on the grass shoulder. A second accident occurred when two cars sideswiped each other, and one of those vehicles was sent careening into Laurie. She died at the scene.

Pray for the Good Samaritans
who come to the aid of
strangers, selflessly.

Friends and family stated that it was in character for Laurie to come to the aid of others. She was just that type of woman. Anybody who knew her, she touched them and made a difference. She will be greatly missed.

Laurie Vaughn worked for Jaguar Technologies. She was an animal lover and owned five dogs.

Amanda Guido and Tevin Lincoln are devastated over the death of Laurie who came to their aid.

Laurie is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her sister, Kerry Vaughn.

Pray for the Good Samaritans who come to the aid of others. They are the true heroes.

Pray that Laurie is in heaven. Pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
