Jason Ellis - Law Enforcement - Kentucky

Officer Jason Ellis, age 33, died on May 25, 2013, on an exit ramp from the Bluegrass Parkway, outside of Bardstown, Kentucky.

Jason was a member of the Bardstown Police Department.  He had 7 years of service.

A citizen called 911 at 2:53 am to report that an officer had been fatally struck by a vehicle.

A Kentucky State Police trooper responded to the scene and discovered that Officer Ellis had been shot.

The subject who shot him remains at large.

Michael, Archangel,
Patron Saint of the
Police, pray for Jason
and for his loved ones
who have lost him
The police department is mourning the loss of their comrade.

Jason is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and two sons.

God save us from the freaks who shoot strangers in the dead of night on a highway.  These killers are the Lost Ones.  Amen.

Thank you for serving, Jason.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty. Amen.

Pray that Jason is in heaven. Pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
