Seven foreign construction workers in Nigeria died on March 9, 2013, in Bauchi State, northern Nigeria. 

The 7 men had been kidnapped on February 16, 2013, by the Islamist Extremist group known as Ansaru. 

The identities of most of these murdered men have not been released but they were reported to be from Britain, Greece, Italy and Lebanon. 

The foreign workers were based in Jama'are, a town about 125 miles north of Bauchi, where militant Islamists have launched numerous attacks in a bid to destabilise the government of Nigeria and create Islamic rule.

Ansaru, a splinter group independent from Boko Haram, the main terrorist group in northern Nigeria, claimed responsibility and announced they had killed "all the seven Christian foreigners".

Men in "Western" countries are soon going to have to make serious decisions about working in Islamic countries or in countries where Islamic militants are on a mission to take over. 

Work is difficult to find for many and these construction jobs in Africa and the Middle East often pay well and seem appealing.  

There is nothing appealing about being murdered in a foreign country no matter how much you are paid.

What good is the money if you are dead? What good does this do for your family? 

Pray for these 7 men.  Pray that they are with the Father in Heaven. Amen.
