Sandi Sutton-Wasmund - died from riding in a taxi in Las Vegas

Sandi Sutton-Wasmund, age 48, died on February 21, 2013, on a street in Las Vegas, at 4:30 a.m. 

She was from Maple Valley, Washington.

Details are sketchy, but there was an altercation involving a man named Kenny Cherry at a casino that escalated and spilled into the street. Another person in a black Range Rover shot at a Maserati car on the street. This killed the driver, Kenny Cherry, who crashed into a taxi, which burst into flames, killing the taxi driver, Michael Boldon, age 62, and his passenger, Sandi Sutton-Wasmund. 

Sandi was in Las Vegas on a trip with her business partner for a convention. They owned a clothing store called "The Dazzled Dame". This trip was to buy clothes and accessories for the store.

Sandi was a member of the Maple Valley Chamber of Commerce. Friends stated that she was the heart and soul of the community. 

Sandi had survived several battles with breast cancer.

Friends describe her as a tireless volunteer, a great teammate and someone who could always be counted on. She had many friends who respected her. 

Sandi's family are wracked with grief and will forever miss her. 

They stated that Sandi was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister.

Sandi is survived by many loving friends and relatives. 

Pray for all who die by misadventure. They are with us one moment and are gone the next. Amen. 

Pray for the innocent bystanders who are killed by the freaks of this world. Amen. 

God help us.  Amen. 

Let us pray that Sandi is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
