Ashley and her sister, Lindsay, age 19, were travelling on a City street at about 2:30 a.m. Their vehicle was struck by an Albuquerque Police Department vehicle.
The police officer was in pursuit of a suspected drunk driver when the collision occurred.
Ashley died at the scene and Lindsay was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital with a fractured spine and broken hip.
Ashley graduated from Douglas High School in 2009. She joined the National Guard and completed basic training in August of 2010.

She will be forever missed by her family and comrades.
Ashley is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her mother, Donna Browder; her father Charles Browder; and her sister, Lindsay.
Thank you for serving, Ashley.
Pray for all who die young.
