Tameria Greene - age 8 - murdered in Detroit

Tameria Greene, age 8, died on December 30, 2012, in a suburb of Detroit, Michigan. She would have turned 9 in a couple of days.

She had been stabbed in the chest at about 2:30 a.m. 

Neighbors ran into the house and performed C.P.R. but Tameria was already deceased.

Charged with murder is Semeria Greene, age 26, her mother, who is also the mother of 4 boys. 

Neighbors said that Semeria Greene had a history of drug and alcohol abuse and mental health issues and that she neglected and abused her kids.

Neighbors said they often gave the children food and clothing and had called police and Child Protective Services to complain about the mother repeatedly. Child Protective Services had taken the kids away from Semeria once before. 

Semeria Greene was to stand trial on January 29, 2013, after a Child Protective Services worker in October of 2012 saw bruises on Tameria's face and body.

And yet....they still left Tameria in the custody of her mother. Why?

God save us from the mothers who give us birth and then bring us to our death. Amen. 

Let us pray that Tameria Greene is in heaven. Let us pray that she is at peace and is with God. Amen.
