Enrique Mondragon

Sgt. Enrique Mondragon, age 23, of The Colony, Texas, died on December 24, 2012, in Baraki Barak, Afghanistan, from injuries sustained when his unit was attacked by small arms fire while on dismounted patrol.

He was assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 173rd Special Troops Battalion, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Bamberg, Germany.

His military comrades stated that they are in sorrow and heartbroken over Enrique's death.  He will never be forgotten. 

Enrique was known as "Dragon" to many of his military friends. 

Light a candle for Enrique.
Light his way to Heaven. 
Military officials said that Enrique was small in stature but had a huge impact on his platoon. They all knew that he deeply loved his wife and daughter.

Enrique is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Katie and their two year old daughter, Beverly.

Thank you for serving, Enrique.

Let us pray that Enrique Mondragon is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Be was my neighbors boyfriend the n husband, he was a very enthusiastic person and he always had a smile in his face, may the Lord Jesus Christ receives him in arms and look upon his family and give his family strength to accept God's will.. Mary full of grace take him by the hand to your son Jesus Christ.
