Young Fero - murdered in Denver

Young Fero died on October 17, 2012, in a neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.

She was the owner of a bar called Fero's Bar and Grill. She was in the bar around 2:00 a.m. when three men rushed into the bar in an attempted robbery and shot and killed 5 people in the bar.

The men arrested are: Dexter Lewis (age 22), Joseph Hill (age 27) and Lynell Hill (age 24).

These men are all facing charges involving first-degree murder, arson and aggravated robbery.

Friends describe this bar as "low end" and somewhat dangerous but stated that Young Fero was liked and respected by her customers. Some of them considered her as a friend and some as a second mother.
Light a candle for Young Fero.
Light her way to Heaven.

Police records do not show repeated problems at this bar.

Coworkers said that Young Fero had worked or owned the bar for almost 20 years. She worked as a waitress there and zipped around on roller skates. Friends said that she was a cook, bartender, manager, and everything in between.

Regulars at this bar said that they will forever remember her as family.

Friends said that the bar was not doing well in this economy but that Young Fero would give food to homeless people who asked her for help.

If you have information about this murder, please call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867. There is a reward.

Young is survived by many loving friends and relatives including her brother, Tae Moon Park, and her daughter.
