Garrett Elsley - Canadian found dead in Bristol, England

Garrett Elsley, age 22, from Sherwood Park, Alberta, was found deceased on September 30, 2012, at a recycling facility in Bristol, England.

He was a graduate of Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario and had arrived in England only a day before to study for a master's degree at the University of Bristol.

He checked into his residence after arriving in the country on Wednesday. He sent a text to parents in Canada to say that all was well. He went out for the evening with a friend he had played rugby with in the past.

Angels of God, pray for
Garrett
What happened after that is not clear. Police and witnesses have security tape and are still trying to piece together what happened.

Apparently Bristol Police are not treating this case as "suspicious" as of this posting.  However, how does one go from pubbing with a friend to being placed in a dumpster and transported to a garbage facility miles away without something suspicious happening?

Friends describe Garrett as an overall amazing guy, who was well-liked by everyone.

Family and friends are devastated by this tragic news.

Garrett is survived by many loving friends and family members including his parents.

Pray for all who die young and by misadventure.

Pray for all who die without their loved ones, in a foreign land.

Let us pray that Garrett Elsley is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
