Anthony McGill

Spc. Anthony Walter McGill, age 26, of Walnut, California, died on September 6, 2012, at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia.

Anthony was a member of the 192nd Infantry Brigade at Fort Benning, Georgia. 

Anthony was a basic training soldier. 

He lost consciousness during a 2 mile physical fitness assessment test. Lifesaving measures were applied immediately on the scene but he never regained consciousness. The test was conducted at 81 degrees F. and 100 percent humidity. 

Anthony is survived by many loving friends and relatives.

Pray for all who die young.
