James Dominguez - Border Patrol - Texas

Agent James Dominguez, age 41, died in the line of duty on July 19, 2012, near Cline, Texas.

James was a member of the U.S. Border Patrol, assigned to the Del Rio Sector. He had 12 years of service.

He was struck and killed by a vehicle while assisting a disabled motorist on a highway near Cline, Texas.

The disabled vehicle had experienced a flat tire. Agent Dominguez was assisting the driver pick up some of the tire debris when he was struck from behind by a large pickup truck.

It has been reported that this may have been an accident. However no further details are available at this time. 

James' father is retired from the Border Patrol and his brother serves with the Border Patrol. 

James is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his father and brother; his wife, and their son and three daughters. 

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
