Daniel Rodriguez

Sgt. Daniel A. Rodriguez, age 28, of Baltimore, Maryland, died on July 18, 2012, in Ghazni City, Afghanistan, when his vehicle struck an enemy improvised explosive device. 

Daniel was assigned to the 548th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum, New York.

Daniel joined the Army in 2002.  This was his second deployment to Afghanistan. He also did two tours in Iraq. 

His awards and decorations included two purple hearts, the Army Commendation Medal, three Army Achievement Medals and three Army Good Conduct Medals. 

Daniel is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother; his wife and their three children.

Let us pray that Daniel Rodriguez is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
