Philip Schiller

Spc. Philip C. S. Schiller, age 21, of The Colony, Texas, died on April 11, 2012, in Kandahar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire. 

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 3rd Stryker Brigade Combat Team, 2nd Infantry Division, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Washington.

Philip enlisted in the Army in June of 2011, and arrived at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in November of 2010. He was deployed to Afghanistan in December of 2011.

His awards and decorations include the Purple Heart and Bronze Star Medal.

Philip is survived by many loving friends and relatives. 

Pray for those men who die at age 21. Yesterday, they were just boys. Amen.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Philip Schiller is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
