Kenny Fox - Firefighter - Tennessee

Fire Chief Kenny Fox, age 39, died in the line of duty on April 7, 2012, in Parsons, Tennessee.

Kenny was a member of the Decatur County Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a Sergeant with the Decatur County Sheriff’s Office.

Fire Chief Fox died from injuries sustained when the roof of a burning bar and grill collapsed on him. Two other firefighters on the interior attack team were injured but according to reports were pushed outside of the structure by Chief Fox just before the collapse. They were both transported to the hospital and treated for serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Authorities said Kenny's wife and two eldest sons also are volunteers at the fire department. 

Kenny Fox is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife and 3 sons. 

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.
