Spc. James E. Dutton, age 25, of Checotah, Oklahoma, died on March 31, 2012, in Logar province, Afghanistan.

James was assigned to the 125th Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored Division, Fort Bliss, Texas.

The cause of his death has not been released as of this posting.

James has been described as a man who fixed fire trucks and that he was the only service member in Southern Afghanistan who could fix fire trucks.

Saint Maximilian Kolbe,
pray for James
James was a 2006 graduate of Weleetka High School, and he graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, South Carolina.

Recently James had sent his wife an email in which he quoted from Winnie the Pooh - "If you live to be 100, I hope I live to be 100 minus one day, so I never have to be without you."

James is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents, James and Trina Dutton; his sister Roxanne; and his wife Ellen Marie Dutton, who also serves in the Army.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that James Dutton is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
