Jonathan was a member of the Norfolk Fire Department. He had 20 years of service.
Firefighter Myers was found unconscious on the floor of his fire station's bunk room. Fellow firefighters immediately started CPR. Myers was then transported to DePaul Medical Center where he passed away from a cause still to be determined.

Fire Department officials stated that they are in mourning over Jonathan's sudden death.
Jonathan is survived by many loving friends, comrades and relatives.
Pray for all who die while on duty.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jonathan Myers is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
