Light a candle for Dan.  Light
his way to Heaven. He gave up
his life for another.

He received the 2011 FBI Director's Award for Outstanding Criminal Investigation and the 2011 Attorney General's Award for Excellence in Law Enforcement.

Officials stated that Daniel was a hero and a wonderful person. He went to the aid of a stranger without hesitation.

Daniel is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his parents and four brothers.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty.

Pray for all who die while coming to the aid of others.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Daniel Knapp is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
