David Riddlesperger - Law Enforcement - Alabama

Police Officer David Riddlesperger, age 48, died on October 31, 2011, in Gardendale, Alabama.

David was just getting off of his night-shift job in the early morning hours and was presumably headed to work out at Health and Fitness Center in Gardendale, as was his normal practice, when it is believed he had a heart attack and crashed into the exterior wall of the gym.

Michael, Archangel, patron
saint of the Police, pray for David
He was a member of the Fultondale Police Department in Alabama. He had worked for Fultondale for five and one-half years, and had previously retired from the Birmingham Police Department after serving 20 years.

Police officials describe David as an experienced officer who was well-liked and a man who was close to his family.

Others describe him as a very likeable person and a compassionate man.

David is survived by numerous loving friends and family members including his wife of 28 years, Betty, and his teenaged sons Hunter and Morgan.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that David Riddlesperger is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
