Timothy Lowery - Law Enforcement - Oklahoma

Reserve Deputy Sheriff Timothy Lowery, age 56, of Konawa, Oklahoma, was killed in the line of duty on September 30, 2011.

He was a member of the Pottawatomie County Sheriff's Office, Oklahoma, and had 24 years of service.

Tim Lowery and Michael Roberts were returning to the Sheriff's office after serving warrants when their patrol car was struck by a tractor trailer on a state highway in Pottawatomie County. Both officers died at the scene.

Both officers were described as hardworking deputies.

Friends stated that Tim loved his family and always had stories about his kids and grandkids.

Tim is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his wife, Kathy Lowry; twin daughters, Michelle Jesse and Melissa Wilson; son, Jason Lowry; his mother, Wanda Lowry; sister, Debbie Jackson; and two brothers, Ronnie Lowry and Ricky Lowry.

Pray for all who die in the line of duty. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Timothy Lowery is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
