Rafal Nowakowski

Polish soldier Lance Corporal Rafal Nowakowski, age 30, was killed in Ghazni, Afghanistan, on October 4, 2011, when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device.

He had served in the army since 2003 - 2 years as a conscript soldier and 6 years in the 17th Wielkopolska Mechanized Brigade. He was a gunner.

Rafal came from Konin, Poland. He was unmarried. 

He is survived by many loving friends and relatives including his mother, sister and his girlfriend.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Rafal Nowakowski is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
