Cody L. Bryan

Sgt. Cody L. Bryan, age 22, of Kettering, Ohio, died on October 14, 2011, from complications after surgery for an injury he sustained while in Iraq on his second tour.

He was a member of the 3rd Battalion, 29th Field Artillery Regiment, Gulf Company.

He was a 2007 graduate of Kettering Fairmont High School.  Cody was looking forward to an honorable discharge from the Army so he could study counseling.

Jesus, pray for Cody
He was a combat veteran with two tours in Iraq. He was a proud member of the "Pacesetters" whose motto is "Duty First, Iron Strong" which described Cody perfectly. Cody was the Companies "Go-To" man who never failed to complete his missions.

Family members describe him as strong and courageous, a giving husband and a loving father.

Cody is survived by numerous loving friends and relatives including his mother Debi and sister Devin; his father Rick and stepmother Raelynn; his wife Megan; children Kaydence and Ian, with a baby boy to be born in two months.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Cody L. Bryan is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
