Alexander Bennett

Alexander Bennett, age 23, from Tacoma, Washington, was killed on August 6, 2011, in the Tangi Valley of Wardak Province, Afghanistan, when a U.S. helicopter crashed.

After a 2009 deployment in Iraq, Alexander moved from Tacoma to Overland Park, Kansas to be a flight mechanic in the Army Reserve’s Chinook unit at New Century AirCenter.

Friends describe Alexander as a prankster and a man who always had a smile on his face. He is described as kind and helpful. 

Friends said that he loved the military. 

Alexander Bennett graduated from Foss High School in 2005.

Pray for all men and women who die while in their 20's. God help us all. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Alexander Bennett is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
