Spc. Nicholas C. D. Hensley, age 28, of Prattville, Alabama, died on June 24, 2011, in Landstuhl, Germany from injuries sustained in Kandahar, Afghanistan, on June 15, 2011, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.  |

He was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Nicholas C. D. Hensley is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
