Jeffrey C. S. Sherer

Sgt. Jeffrey C. S. Sherer, age 29, of Four Oaks, North Carolina, died on June 2, 2011, in Zabul province, Afghanistan, of injuries sustained when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 24th Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jeffrey C. S. Sherer is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
