Jesus, pray for Francis
Originally an infantry soldier with the Royal 22e Regiment, Francis Roy volunteered for service with the Canadian Special Operations Regiment in 2009 and quickly became an effective member of the regiment. He served a regular forces overseas tour in 2008-2009 at Camp Mirage in the United Arab Emirates, supporting the Afghanistan mission.

His hometown is listed as Rimouski, Quebec. Francis was on his first deployment with special forces.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Francis Roy is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
