Majid Amir Abu Qdairi

Jordanian 1st Lieutenant Majid Amir Abu Qdairi was killed on May 22, 2011, in Logar Province, Afghanistan.

Lieutenant Qdairi was killed in a roadside blast while escorting a humanitarian aid convoy.

He was part of the Jordanian peace-keeping contingent in Afghanistan. The Jordanian peace-keeping forces recently renovated 34 mosques in Logar Province which were furnished and provided with copies of the Holy Koran. They also have been distributing food, medical and humanitarian assistance, renovating schools, building roads and delivering water to houses in Mohammad Agha district and the village of Kusheh. Jordanian women are working to raise the awareness of Afghan women and provide educational and health assistance.

Let us pray to God that Majid Amir Abu Qdairi is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
