Kevin W. White

Cpl. Kevin W. White, age 22, of Westfield, N.Y., died on May 2, 2011, in Kunar province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device.

He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 35th Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division, Schofield Barracks, Hawaii.

Kevin graduated from Westfield Central Schools near Jamestown in 2006. He had already been deployed to Iraq just after high school. This time around, he was only in battle for a month when he was killed.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kevin W. White is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
