Clifford E. Beattie

Sgt. 1st Class Clifford E. Beattie, age 37, of Medical Lake, Washington, died on May 22, 2011, in Baghdad, Iraq, when enemy forces attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device. 

He was assigned to the1st Battalion, 63rd Armor, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Riley, Kansas.

Padre Pio, pray for Clifford

A 1992 graduate of Medical Lake High School, he joined the Army soon after high school.

Clifford Beattie has a wife and two children who live in Yelm, Washington. 

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Clifford E. Beattie is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.
