Raymond G. Estelle II

Maj. Raymond G. Estelle II, age 40, of New Haven, Connecticut, died on April 27, 2011, at the Kabul Airport in Afghanistan.

He was assigned to Headquarters Air Combat Command, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va.

A financially distressed 50-year-old Afghani pilot opened fire at Kabul airport after an argument, killing seven other U.S. troops and an American civilian contractor. Ahmad Gul, the shooter, was killed in the incident.
Father, put Raymond on the
stairway to Heaven

Raymond served 20 years in the United States Air Force.

He was a married father of a daughter and a newborn son.

Family members stated that Raymond loved being a part of the U.S. Air Force, serving multiple tours overseas, and that “He loved flying and doing things most people dreamed of.”

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Raymond G. Estelle II is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen.

Raymond had a wonderful sense of what life was. I loved him dearly. And I miss him immensely. He loved his country and he left behind an older daughter in Ct. I know my heavenly father Jehovah, will call him out of his memorial tomb when the resurrection begins and I will see him then and we can walk and talk in our new healthy bodies and a new system free from hatred, illness, death, crime, racism, sexism, immorality and injustice. I want to show him all that Jehovah has blessed us with and share with him all the good new of his kingdom. See you when you wake up from you restful slumber my dear beloved friend.
