Jason G. Amores

Sgt. Jason G. Amores, age 29, died Jan. 20, 2011, while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was killed in a bomb explosion. 

He was assigned to 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, and Camp Pendleton, Calif.

It was his third deployment in Afghanistan. He had also served in Iraq twice.

He is survived by his wife, Jennifer and his parents, Beverly and Curtis Middleton and his two children, Corbin, age 9 and Violet, age 4.

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Jason G. Amores is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
