Major Evan J. Mooldyk, age 47, of Rancho Murieta, California, was killed in Khowst province, Afghanistan on January 12, in a non-combat related incident.Evan Mooldyk had been in Afghanistan since January of 2010 supporting Operation Enduring Freedom as part of the 19th Sustainment Command, 377th Theater Sustainment Command. He was scheduled to come home in two weeks.
He is survived by his wife, Leslie and their three children.
Evan Moodyk also served in Iraq while he was a member of the national guard five years ago.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Evan J. Mooldyk is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
