Eric M. Torbert, Jr.

Cpl. Eric M. Torbert, Jr., age 25, of Lancaster, Pa., died on December 18, 2010, in Afghanistan.

He was assigned to 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division with Pendleton-based I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF). Eric Torbert enlisted in the Marine Corps on Sept. 5, 2007. This was his first combat deployment.

His personal service awards include the Purple Heart, Combat Action Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, and Sea Service Deployment Ribbon

Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Eric M. Torbert Jr. is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
