Sgt. Curtis A. Oakes, age 29, was killed on November 29, 2010, when an Afghan policeman being trained opened fire on him, at Combat Outpost Lonestar, Nangarhar province, Afghanistan.
Curtis Oakes joined the Army in 2003. He is married and has three children.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Curtis Oakes is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
