Staff Sgt. Kenneth K. McAninch, age 28, of Logansport, Indiana, died October 21, 2010, while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.
He died at the Yahya Khel district, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit using small arms fire.
Staff Sgt. McAninch was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 506th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) out of Fort Campbell, Kentucky .
He leaves behind a wife and five children.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Kenneth McAninch is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
