Sgt. Karl Andrew Campbell, age 34, of Chiefland died October 4, 2010, when he was hit by an improvised explosive device while patrolling on foot in southern Afghanistan. He was a cavalry scout assigned to the 101st Airborne Division. He enlisted in the Army twice. He joined the Army in 1995 and completed his service in 2003. He enlisted again in November 2009.He is survived by his wife, Jennifer M. Campbell; a son, Charles Campbell; and a stepson, Ty Bartlett; all of whom live at Fort Campbell, Ky. He is also survived by a daughter, Brea Campbell of Denver, Pa.; a stepson, Joseph L. Goble IV of Starke; and his parents, Arthur and Audrey Campbell of Chiefland.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Karl Campbell is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
