Lance Cpl. Joseph C. Lopez, age 26, of Rosamond, in the Antelope Valley, was killed October 14, 2010, in Helmand province, Afghanistan. Joseph Lopez, a rifleman, enlisted in March 2009. He was on his first overseas deployment. He was assigned to the 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Pendleton, Calif.
Let us pray to God the Father, Jesus, all of the saints and all of the angels that Joseph Lopez is in heaven. Let us pray that he is at peace and is with God. Amen
